I wanted Layton to be an overworked character. I focused his design on harsh edges and lines to align with his serious personality and life.

My goal with the other characters was to make all their designs different with various shapes and  sizes.

It was important that the props reflect on the messy environment that Layton lives in. As well as props for the other characters encountered.
